Why did we establish FOODnBEVTECH?
FOODnBEVTECH was born from our collective enthusiasm for the opportunities available to the food & beverage industry enabled with technology.
The only thing we were missing was our own restaurant business! Instead we decided to help others.
We’re excited to combine these opportunities and our expertise to help restaurant businesses take advantage of technology.
- We identified there is an imbalance between the way restaurant businesses generally operate and technology. Food & beverage operators have much to gain from bringing technology tools into their business.
- We understood that the range of restaurant & bar technology that is available for the industry is overwhelming and that experienced guidance was needed.
- We recognized that generally the industry is not experienced in managing a large volume of technology in their business.
- We knew that most restaurant operators understood point of sale. But less understanding of how to build an overall technology environment and how these systems need to work together.
- We also recognized that food & beverage businesses do not generally have access to enterprise experienced business people with technology experience.
- We saw that it is becoming mission critical for restaurant businesses to bring on technology.
- We recognized that many operational processes were not enabled by technology and that information capture by food & beverage operators was minimal.
- We noted that the customer expects and demands a level of interaction with technology.

We also offer our Sides Menu. Here we focus on specific and important areas of your modern restaurant & bar operation to help you identify tools ensuring that you are getting the most out of your current technology.
It’s the restaurant beverage business so we know that sometimes what is on the menu may not suit every diner. We offer an A la carte option where we can work on a specific task, project or a combination of tasks that are aligned with the needs of your food and beverage business.

We have locations on the East and West coasts of the USA. Depending upon the type of work we are helping your business with we can often assist you remotely. There are certain stages of our work where a local presence is not absolutely necessary, although we do feel it is of greater benefit to your business.

RAHUL JOSEPH
Our core background includes operations, production, marketing and technology. Blending these sets of experience brings to you a ‘business of technology’ mentality when we are helping your business.
Our hands on industry experience includes hotels, resorts, casino, restaurants from concessionaires to fine dining, bars, spas and lifestyle & retail outlets, clubs, stadiums and entertainment & sporting venues, conferencing and event locations and commercial scale kitchens. We’ve found the right technology solutions to complement and integrate these businesses.
